Every ultrasound exam is performed using GE Nextgen Logiq e R7, a high-end, high-performing portable device, and the images will be interpreted by a board certified veterinary radiologist. A typed report will be sent to your clinic within 24 hours.

Abdominal / Pelvic Ultrasound
Includes imaging of the liver, portal vein, gallbladder, bile ducts, pancreas, kidneys, adrenal glands, spleen, stomach, pylorus, duodenum, jejunum and bladder. Reproductive organs and prostate will be assessed if clinically warranted. ​
Limited Abdominal / Follow Up
Doesn't comprise all the organs in the abdomen. Intended for following up abdominal or pelvic pathology seen on a recent ultrasound within the last 2 months.
Pregnancy Ultrasound
Confirms pregnancy, viability, approximate fetal age and count.
Soft Tissue/Palpable lump Ultrasound
Assess cutaneous and subcutaneous lumps to help characterize composition (cystic vs solid), while aiding in differentiating hernias. Helps identifying joint effusions and if a mass is present within the muscle.
Ultrasound Guided Abdominocentesis and Thoracentesis
This is strictly ultrasound guidance to identify thoracic and abdominal fluid and avoiding vital organs during the procedure. The needle insertion would be performed by the attending veterinarian.
Fine Needle Aspiration Sampling
Ultrasound -guided FNA can be performed at the time of the sonogram if safe for the patient or as a follow up procedure, once the report has been interpreted by the DVM, for higher clinical relevance and guided approach. The collection of samples are under the discretion of the sonographer, in conjunction with the attending veterinarian who would be the one inserting the needle and collecting all the samples.
Ocular Ultrasound
It has become a standard imaging modality in ophthalmology and is routinely used as the first imaging technique for evaluation of ocular and orbital structures, including retrobulbar soft tissues and its changes caused by disease, traumatic injuries, foreign body presence, degenerative process and neoplastic and non neoplastic masses.
Neck Ultrasound
Ultrasonography has been used to evaluate the cervical region of the dog and cat, specially the thyroid gland, parathyroid gland, and other surrounding structures, such as regional lymph nodes and musculature, esophagus, salivary glands, trachea and even the tongue.
